The Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Bank, Ifie Sekibo has revealed why staff protested at the residence of 65-year-old Senator Andy Uba.

The bank headman explained the strategy behind the development to staff in a memo which reads in part “Consequently, the recent visit of our colleagues was in line with our objective and solely to address the indebtedness of the customer.

“I encourage us all to be bold and tenacious, fiercely engaging the market and refusing all forms of intimidation, which the current phase may present.”

The memo written to staff in the face of varying reactions to the move after the video of the “protest’ went viral was sourced in a report monitored by societynow.ng on nairametrics.com.

The memo puts to rest speculations over the position of the Heritage bank’s chief executive officer and management of the financial institution on the occurrence which transpired on Monday, June 21, 2021, at the Abuja residence of Senator Uba who represents Anambra South Senatorial District since 2011 at the National Assembly.
