+ talks of involvement in fuel subsidy scam untrue
Mr Chima Anyaso, the front person of Oil firm- Ceecon has dispelled information of a rift with former governor Orji Uzor Kalu and resignation from the Oil company as a result of this.
The low profile socialite described this as not correct.
He clarified that there is no rift between him and Dr Orji Kalu stating ‘He is my uncle and like a father to me…we enjoy very wonderful relationship- so talks of a fallout of any sort doesn’t arise’
He explained the powerful politician’s involvement in Ceecon as that of an Investor insisting ‘I own Ceecon and run it, so the issue of resignation doesn’t come in’.
The upwardly mobile Nigerian emphasis his ownership of the Oil firm with the assertion that ‘ I am still here (at Ceecon’s office)- and a visit here is all it requires to confirm that’
Sounding very calm and assured, the connected businessman – entertained questions on alleged involvement in the on going fuel subsidy probe as ‘a misunderstanding’
He disclosed that indeed, he has business interest in one of the listed companies but explained that it is not guilty of any offence.
‘The listing is a case of misunderstanding that we are currently sorting out’ he reiterated.
Mr Anyaso made the clarification in a phone chat with societynowng.com.
