Ex Minister Sanusi Daggash Returns From Exile To Face Boko Haram Threats
Former Minister for works, Senator Sanusi Daggash is back from self exile.
He was spotted at a wedding in Lagos on Saturday, September 1 2012.
The nuptial was the Church arm of the holy matrimony between Pelede- the son of Owoeye Azazi, former National Security Adviser and his beau- Solape Olaleye.
The ceremony held at the Church of Assumption, Falomo Ikoyi.
Senator Daggash arrived the venue towards the end of the ‘service’ which kicked off at about 12.15p.m. Sanusi Daggash He came and left alone.
The former Senator representing Borno State scampered abroad a couple of months ago on the heels of threats from militant group, Boko Haram against him- according to information obtained from online news spotter, The Citizen.
The group at war with the Federal Government and those they tagged ‘it’s collaborators’ had reportedly issued threats against Daggash for supporting President Goodluck Jonathan.
Based on the manner the group had continuously undermined the nation’s intelligence community- the former Minister had reportedly taken the threat seriously and gone on self exile early this year.
His situation was reportedly made precarious because he hailed from the origin and stronghold of the highly militant group.
