Access Bank Managers, Workers In Disarray Over Death Of 29yr Old Marketer, Solabomi In Bid To Meet Target!

Top managers and marketers at financial Institution led by Mr Aigboje Aig Imoukhuede- Access Bank are in disarray.

Sources attribute the situation at the bank with chairman of the presidential probe panel on fuel subsidy as helms man to the death of a 29yr old worker- Solabomi Olugbemi of the Retail Business Unit.

She reportedly suffered hypertension over inability to meet her target- was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t survive.

Information sourced from the-aristocrat.com (the medium that broke the story) catalogued the developments that led to her death thus: ‘the Divisional Director gave them an ear-pulling warning early this year to raise cheap funds for the bank on N1 trillion in 6months. Solabomi lost her life because of bad accounts she inherited from a product called Auto-online (Car Loan) coupled with the incident of one of her customers withdrawing 200million naira from his account which threw her balance sheet to negative.

‘We also gathered from an insider in the bank that Solabomi collapsed on the last day of OJC target deadline because she was unable to maintain a huge demand deposit balance. She was immediately rushed to Jolade hospital in Gbagada, Lagos but she was later taken to Military hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos where she was diagnosed with high blood pressure…

According to the report, the late worker at the Retail Business Unit at Simbiat Abiola branch of Access Bank was married with 3 children.

Fresh investigation by societynowng.com revealed this development has created an apprehensive health scare among other workers at the marketing department.

Informants claim the widespread story has resulted in palpable fear gripping workers over the result of excessive fear of failing to meet targets- and efforts to sustain set limits.

‘They do not want to be another Solabomi’ a source disclosed.

On the part of the managers- insiders revealed the wide spread flaks the incident exposed the bank have seen them running helter skelter for damage control.

They are striving hard behind the scene to correct the perception of ‘slave driver’ the management is now decorated with.

Sources claim already a crew has been designated to meet with deceased family to curtail further bad press- and another working on the bank being a part of the burial ceremony to shore of a slipping image of ‘responsible among workers- and other publics.

Bank’s spokesperson, Segun Fafore said he could not comment on the matter when we contacted him.
