Burglars Of Segun Odegbami’s Home, Receivers Of The Stolen Goods Arraigned In Court
Burglars of the home of ex international Segun Odegbami and receivers of the stolen goods carted away by the robbers were arraigned in court today.
The suspects, six in numbers, appeared before an Igbosere –Lagos- Magistrates’ court to answer charges against them.
The men identified as : Oke Moses, 18; Abdul Azeez, 22; Ajibade Rahmon, 24; Isaac Okenuga, 29; Olusola Orisansope, 22; and Daramola Abiodun, 22 are facing cahrges revolving around stealing and receiving goods worth N14.1million.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Some of the items allegedly stolen from the Victoria Island, Lagos home of the man dubbed mathematical Odegbami because of his prowess on the football pitch are “a Rolex watch worth N12 million, Iphone 7plus valued at N490, 000, a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone worth N150,000 and two Apple laptops worth N600,000, a box containing clothes and shoes worth N500, 000 and a phone recharge cable worth N5,000” according to information sourced from news platform premiumtimes.
Further revelations have it the suspects were committed to a N1million bail bond each, with two sureties in like sum by magistrate F.O Botoku.
That the sureties must be gainfully employed, with evidence(s) of tax payment to the Lagos state government were parts of the conditions attached.
