Armed Robbers Attack Bullion Van In Day Light, Movie Like Operation Along Akure-Ondo Express Way

Armed robbers- today – attacked a bullion van ferrying money along Akure – Ondo Express way in a movie like operation according to emerging details.

The incident transpired by Ireje Village in Ondo East Local Government Area of Ondo state at about 1pm.

Ten armed men opened fire on the Bullion Van and it’s police escorts local sources disclose.

The armed bandits way laid the money couriers in two vehicles.

The sporadic gun shots forced every one off the road and made possible witnesses on leg scampered into nearby bushes.

After successfully taking over the bullion van, the bandits couldn’t crack it open and access the fund.

They were forced to abandon their objective and scurried into the bush according to information sourced from Punch.

The bullion van, belonging to a new generation bank, was reportedly travelling from Ondo Town to state capital Akure when it was attacked according to the report.
