Bigger Nuts To Crack? Lagos Govt Drops Charges Against Naira Marley, Guber Candidate Gbadamosi & Wife After Conviction Against Funke Akindele & Hubby

The charges against singer Naira Marley (Azeez Fashola), Gubernatorial candidate Babatunde Gbadamosi and his wife, Folashade have been dropped.

This development comes after the government secured a conviction against actress Funke Akindele and her husband JJC Skillz (Abdulrasheed Bello) for related offenses that Naira Marley, Gbadamosi and his wife were arrested.

The actress staged a birthday party for her husband and Naira Marley, Gbadamosi, his wife and other guests attended in violation of the lockdown imposed by the government in the bid to stem the spread of global threat against well being – Covid 19.

Akindele and her husband pleaded guilty and were convicted with a sentence of 14days community service, N100.000 fine each and isolation for 14 days at a facility to be determined by the Lagos State Government.

But emerging details have it that there will be no arraignment for Naira Marley, Gbadamosi and his wife Folashade.

This development is attributed to an understanding reached with the government to write a letter of apology, undertaking to obey the stay at home order and Self – Isolation for 14 day.
