Chineye Ochuba, the former beauty queen wife of Allied People’s Movement gubernatorial candidate, Adekunle Akinlade has been ‘’invisible’’ at his political campaigns.

‘’His beauty queen wife is nowhere to be found at his campaign rallies or political engagements’’ is the growing talks societynow.ng learned.

And this development is being slanted in a manner that portrays the APM gubernatorial candidate’s wife as not putting her back into efforts to make her husband the next governor of Ogun state.

Akinlade is the candidate outgoing governor Ibikunle Amosun prefers to take over the number one seat in Ogun state.

Amosun’s intense and open support for Akinlade against Dapo Abiodun, the candidate of his party, the All Progressives Congress has earned him a suspension.

The governor faces expulsion from the ruling party- after emerging a Senator-Elect- if the national executive committee of his party adopts the recommendation of the panel that suspended him.

Societynow.ng gathered that the emerging talks against the absence of Akinlade’s wife at his campaigns – private and open engagements – is that, Amosun is risking all and telling his supporters to do same while the candidate protects his ‘’ former queen of a wife from what is not clear at press time’’.

Societynow.ng learned, however, learned that those close to Akinlade claim that keeping Chineye, who is Igbo away from her husband’s campaign is to prevent the opposition from playing the ethnic card against him.

‘’The campaign team doesn’t want the opposition to play the card of vote against him so that he doesn’t make an Igbo the first lady..that is why they are keeping his wife as low profile as possible ’’ a source claimed.

Societynow.ng gathered that whether her absence is by commission or omission, what is clear is that Chineye – Akinlade’s wife’s – absence at her husband’s campaigns has become an unfavourable talking point against the gubernatorial candidate less than a week to the election.
