Bayo Adelabu Quarrels With Party Man Joseph Tegbe Over Guber Election Loss

Bayo Adelabu the defeated gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress in the recently held governorship election in Oyo state is very angry at the moment, societynow.ng understands.

His anger, according to findings, is directed at fellow party man Joseph Tegbe.

And it’s over the defeat he suffered in the governorship election in Oyo State.

Gubernatorial election held on Saturday March 9, 2019.

It was a landslide victory for Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Mr Adelabu, a former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, is said to be pointing fingers at Tegbe as one of the party men that betrayed him during the election.

Joseph Tegbe, a Partner and Head of the Technology Advisory practice of KPMG, contested the APC governorship ticket with Adelabu.

But only stepped down after been prevailed upon by a number of party bigwigs few days to the party primary.

Sources mentioned incumbent Gov Ajimobi and APC national leader Asiwaju Tinubu as among the party chieftains that talked Tegbe into taking the decision.

Gathered information showed Adelabu openly confronted Tegbe with the allegation he did not work for him during the election.

Checks by societynow.ng indicate the development would have turned a full blown issue but for Ex Governor Rauf Aregbesola who prevailed on the two warring side to sheath their swords.

“I understand they recently had altercation at Governor Ajimobi’s residence… And it was former governor Aregbesola who was there at that time, that settled the matter for them”, a source in the know stated.
