“Baseless” – Dapo Abiodun’s Wife Defends Claims Of Criticising Tinubu’s Policies

Bamidele, the wife of the Governor of Ogun state has defended claims of criticizing the policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

She labeled the accusations as ” malicious claims are entirely baseless, devoid of truth and the work of malevolent people.”

The Governor’s wife made her reaction known in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant, Yomi Owope

Owope, whose official title is ” senior special assistant to the governor, office of the first lady” asserted the Governor’s wife “has always maintained a dignified and respectful relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, as well as with his family. The notion of her making disparaging remarks about the President is not only unfounded but also incongruent with her values and principles.”

The spokesperson made a counter allegation that the claims attributed to Bamidele Abiodun that President Tinubu’s policies are distressing Nigerians are “intent on causing harm to Her Excellency’s reputation”.

“It is of utmost importance to highlight that the Abiodun family wholeheartedly supports the President’s policies, recognizing them as being in the best interest of the nation” Owope explained futher and insisted that any contrary narrative ” is an outright lie and a regrettable misrepresentation of the truth and an attempt to sow discord where none exists.”
