APC Says Gov Obaseki Unfit To Contest Edo 2020 Guber Pry

The ruling party – All Progressives Congress – says re-election seeking Governor Godwin Obaseki us not fit to contest the shadow election to determine its candidate for this year’s Edo gubernatorial election.

According to the announcement made by the chairman of the committee in charge of the process, Professor Jonathan Ayuba, Obaseki failed to submit his Higher School Leaving Certificate and his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate could not be authenticated.

These premises, according to Ayuba have resulted in the disqualification of Obaseki from the party’s primary for the 2020 Edo state gubernatorial election.

Interestingly, Obaseki became the APC candidate and won election to become governor of Edo state – with ferocious – 

backing from his predecessor, Oshiomhole 

(who is now the National Chairman of the APC) four years ago.

Oshiomhole is now Obaseki’s archenemy.
