All The Details…Guber Hopeful Ladi Adebutu Celebrates As Gov Dapo Abiodun Mourns

It was a case of different strokes for different people this mourning – Tuesday, February 25, 2020 –

in Ogun State.

 Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun started his day mourning with the family of Tiamiyu Kazeem, the footballer who plied his trade with Remo Stars allegedly killed by officers of the Federal  Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) in Shagamu.

The Governorship candidate People’s Democratic Party – recognized the party but rejected by the court – in the last general election Ladi Adebutu started his day on a high note, today is his birthday and his supporters and friend and family members stormed his home to celebrate with him.

The checks made by societynow.ng revealed the birthday celebration of Adebutu was on at the same time Abiodun was paying a condolence visit to the home of Tiamiyu’s parents.

Governor Abiodun made an early morning condolence call at the home of the deceased’s parent after a peaceful protest turned ugly yesterday – Monday, February 24 – and casualties alleged recorded on the side of the protesters and the police.

The area of the protest is part of Remo, the political base of both Abiodun and Adebutu.

The tragic incident and violent protest which have attracted national attention transpired right at the heart of Remo land, at the domain of the paramount ruler Akarigbo (Oba) Babatunde Ajayi.

While Adebutu who has initiated a fresh move to become the governor of Ogun state celebrates his birthday with fanfare – streamed live on his online television channel, Lado TV -, incumbent governor Abiodun mourned with the grieving Tiamiyu family with condolence visit to their home and the palace of the Akarigbo.

Societynow.ng learned that ‘’interestingly, the mother of the deceased footballer disclosed that she was a part of the those that made Adebutu’s party (PDP) popular in the state as a grassroots support mobilizer’’.

The late footballer’s mother validated her contribution to the ‘’growth’’ of PDP in Ogun state with disclosures made during the condolence visit made governor Abiodun. The video of the visit is already in the public space.
