All Round Loss For Amosun’s Preferred Successor Akinlade As VP Osinbajo’s Cousin Takes His House Of Reps Ticket
There is strong indication Adekunle Akinlade, the gubernatorial aspirant preferred by Governor Ibikunle Oyelaja Amosun has suffered an all round in the political circle of Ogun state.
The All Progressives Congress gubernatorial ticket in Ogun state promised to him by Governor Amosun remains firmly in the hands of Dapo Abiodun.
And to compound Akinlade’s situation, his chance of retaining his Federal House of Representatives seat has shut on him.
Insiders confirmed the ticket has been handed to Biyi Otegbeye, a cousin to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
“Otegbeye is now the candidate of the APC for Egbado South/ Ipokia Federal Constituency” societynow.ng learned.

Otegbeye’s status as the next holder of the mandate currently enjoy by Akinlade was confirmed by the National Working that also foreclosed Amosun’s preferred successor’s chance of becoming governor by giving the party’s gubernatorial ticket in Ogun state to Dapo Abiodun.
