Inside Details Why Brilliant Rinsola Abiola Dumped Ruling APC

Emerging details have revealed why brilliant Rinsola, the daughter of the martyr of the nation’s democracy Moshood Kashimawo Abiola quitted her membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Sources disclosed the development has a direct bearing on the action of embattled Governor Ibikunle Oyelaja Amosun.

The Governor of Ogun state literarily forced the rising high-value political asset out of the APC sources confirmed to societynow.ng.

“All revolved around Rinsola’s ambition to become a Federal House of Representatives member on the platform of the ruling party” societynow.ng gathered.

Sources confirmed the daughter of the man whose blood was shed for democracy to be approached Governor Amosun as leader of the party in her state and intimated him of her ambition.

“She told him of her ambition not for the governor to make her a consensus candidate but as a show of respect before she starts the campaign to contest for the party’s ticket” a source stated.

But the governor’s reaction or rather outburst shocked Rinsola to the marrow and made her exit the party.

Societynow.ng gathered the governor, amongst other things, told Rinsola pointed that being an Abiola does not win an election again in Nigeria and there is no room for her ambition in the Ogun state chapter of APC.

According to a source “the things that the governor said and how they were said left Rinsola disillusioned. And the fact that the conversation ended with threats of consequence for disobedience was the clincher that made Rinsola exit APC”.

Societynow.ng gathered that she is currently pursuing her Federal House of Representative’s ambition as a member of a rival party, Action Democratic Party.

Before she left APC Rinsola was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Party.
