Halima, the last child of former military ruler Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida weds today in Minna.

The event is scheduled for 2.30pm specifically at the Hilltop Villa of the former military ruler.

The groom is identified as Alhaji Auwal Lawal Abdullahi, a businessman and holder of the traditional title of Sarkin Sudan Gombe.

According to emerging details the reception is planned for Justice Legb Kutigi Conference Center with El Amin School – owned by the Babangidas – pencilled down as venue for spill over reception. The residence of the former president is pegged to serve the same role.

According to indications all over town the about to happen marriage ceremony promises to be “grand”.

But in the midst of the ongoing chats about the affair, one of the Babangidas is beginning to standout.

He is Aminu the younger brother of Mohammed Babangida.

Aminu who is Vice President at Unity Bank, where the Babangidas are major investors is still single.
