The ailing Governor of Ondo State Rotimi Akeredolu has put ex-member of the Lagos State House of Assembly Jibayo Adeyeye in charge of the Ondo State Ministry of Health.
This development is a result of the death of Ondo State Commissioner for Health Wahab Adegbenro.
Governor Akeredolu is also battling Covid-19, though he explained the infection is at the early stage.
Adegbenro died battling Covid-19 at one of the Isolation Centers in Ondo State earlier in the week.
Adeyeye that inherited Adegbenro’s ‘’responsibilities’’ is the Special Adviser on Health to the Governor.
Adeyeye was also a two-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly before he embraced the politics of Ondo State.
