Actor Arrested Publicly Wearing “Biafra Colors” & Recruiting For IPOB” Released
He was arrested by the Army yesterday
Chiwetalu Agu, the actor allegedly arrested while recruiting for proscribed group, IPOB has been released.

Details of the arrangement that secured the release of the 65year old arrested while attired in the colors of Biafra are still sketchy.
Agu who denied he was supporting the cause of proscribed IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra) which is viciously agitating for separation from Nigeria in the Eastern region spent a night in the custody of the Nigerian Army.
He was arrested by the Army yesterday, October 7, 2021, and claimed he was “just sharing N10,000 worth of bread” not recruiting for IPOB when he was taken into custody.
He further claimed the famous “Rising Sun” of Biafra on his dress was just a ”rising sun” and had nothing to do with Biafra in a video released after he was arrested.
