‘I’m Not Interested In My Late Father’s Throne’ – Prince Lekan Olasore

+ dispels talks of sharing late monarch’s property

Prince Lekan Olashore, one of the sons of the late, Owaloko of Iloko Ijesha, Osun state Oladele Olashore has dispelled rumour of interest in his late father’s throne.

The forty something year old made this assertion in a chat with societynowng.com.

He made the clarification on the heels of talks about town that along with elder brother Abimbola, he is jostling to fill the vacuum created by his father’s death.

The late Oba Olashore died on Saturday June 02 2012.

A section of the town of Iloko and some of the king makers are said to prefer a son of the late Oba Olashore succeed the throne.

But lekan maintained ‘I am not interested in the throne. I just want to focus on my life and business’

In the same breath he refuted talks of sharing his late father’s property floating around.

The tale bearers claimed the Late Oba’s hotel(Royal Park) has been given to Lekan, his sister, shade handed Olashore International School and elder brother- Bimbo other properties amongst other things.

He explained ‘they are businesses with different people in charge, nothing has been shared’.
