BUA Group has taken another major step in expanding its footprint within Nigeria’s agribusiness value chain, following the signing of a partnership agreement with Viteral Integrated Milling Systems to construct a 40 tonnes-per-hour feed mill factory.

The agreement was formalised in Dubai, UAE, where Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group, and Mustafa Ozdemir, General Manager of Türkiye-based Viteral, signed the deal at the BUA Group Middle East office.

The move underscores BUA’s push to deepen food production capacity, reduce import dependence, and support farmers with high-quality, locally produced animal feed.

Industry analysts say the initiative aligns with the group’s ongoing investments across agriculture and food processing, reinforcing its strategy to plug supply gaps and strengthen Nigeria’s food security.

Insiders confirm that the planned facility adds to BUA Group’s expanding portfolio of large-scale industrial projects designed to boost local manufacturing, enhance productivity, and create jobs.

Viteral Integrated Milling Systems, recognised globally for its turnkey milling solutions, is expected to bring world-class engineering and efficient production technologies into the project. The collaboration signals a commitment to delivering top-tier feed mill operations capable of supporting Nigeria’s growing livestock and poultry industries.

The 40TPH feed mill factory, once completed, is projected to significantly expand domestic feed production capacity and provide a competitive advantage for farmers seeking quality feed at more stable prices.

The partnership also highlights BUA’s broader ambition to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s agricultural transformation through strategic investments powered by global expertise.
