A popular Nollywood actor is in a big mess.

The 48year old has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 14(fourteen)year old girl.

To worsen the situation, the police are investigating claims that the actor who has featured in not less than 200 movies has been sexually assaulting the minor since she was 7 (seven) years old.

The troubled actor is Olanrewaju James more popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

He is an actor cum broadcaster with different Radio and Television shows to his credit.

According to information released by Lagos Police spokesperson, CSP Olumiyiwa Adejobi, the 48year old actor was picked up based on a defilement case reported by Princess Adekola Adekanye at Sabo Police Station on Monday, April 19, 2021.

The case is said to have been handed over to the gender unit of the State CID, Panti Yaba for diligent investigation.

There claims the actor was caught on Close Circuit Television (CCT) allegedly committing the crime.
