48hrs To Election: Aregbesola, Oyetola’s Sons “Work Underground” As Osun APC’s Guber Campaign’s Security Committee Members

And the All Progressives Congress in Osun state is throwing everything it has into the battle to retain power.

The sons of the political players with the highest stakes in the Osun APC’s fight to retain power been deployed to the “battlefield”.

Societynow.ng learned the sons of Governor Rauf Aregbesola and gubernatorial candidate Gboyega Oyetola have been appointed members of the party’s campaign security committee.

Outgoing governor Aregbesola against intense opposition within his party orchestrated emergence of Oyetola as the gubernatorial candidate.

The sons of the duo have now been put to work to ensure “end justifies the means”.

Societynow.ng learned as security committee member Kabiru – the son of Aregbesola – has been moving from night leisure spot to another recruiting “boys” for Oyetola’s election.

Societynow.ng learned Oyetola’s son acts as his “appendage” in this “underground movement”.

“It is an open secret in Osun that Kabiru is recruiting boys for Oyetola’s election. Whether he is recruiting them to come vote on election day or for other purposes is not clear at present” a source informed societynow.ng.

Kabiru is widely fingered as one of the major beneficiaries of his father’s winding down two-term tenure as Governor of Osun state.

Should Oyetola emerge, winner of the Saturday, September 22 Osun Gubernatorial election, Kabiru looks set to continue enjoying “his benefits” from the state as a favored “government contractor”.
