Son, Kabiru’s Role “Temporary” As Aregbesola Desperately Searches For Image Manager To Change Public Opinion Against Him Overnight

Fresh revelations have confirmed that Kabiru, the son of Governor of Osun state – Rauf Aregbesola – is indeed his father’s “official” media handler in some circles.

But the revelations come with disclosure that the role being played by the man who handled the mega money educational project known as “Opon Imo” in the management of his father’s image is only “temporary”.

The Governor widely addressed as Ogbeni is said to be “desperately” shopping for a very “strategic media handler”.

“The governor is searching for some one with strong clout in the media and good strategy that can turn the tide of opinion against him in the public space overnight” a source stated.

He is said to have approached some “people” but it appears closeness or special bond with promoted out of relevance communication expert Semiu Okanlawon hindered the moves.

Extremely dirty bid for Semiu’s job as man incharge of communication strategy of the governor -by political interests the governor owe- forced Aregbesola to promote him out of relevance – in attempt to hold on to the man he brought into government.

As Semiu remains handicapped in his administration, sources confirmed Kabiru has “hijacked” his function but the Governor is said to be seriously searching for “the perfect man” to fix his perception problems.

The tide of public perception in the state is alleged to be such that any aspirant the outgoing governor endorses risks transferred “aggression”.
