Ekiti Gov Elect, Ayo Fayose Rebuffs Attempts By Siblings At Public Show Of Reconciliations!
…quarrel with Kashamu Buruj deepens
Ekiti Governor Elect and self styled ‘Irunmole to nje Jollof Rice’ ( Jollof Rice Eating Deity), Ayodele Fayose has rebuffed attempts by his siblings at reconciliation.
Mr Fayose and his siblings Emanuel and Isaac have been at war for quite a while.
The other partaker in quarrel was his late sister, Bimpe Shorinolu. She fought him till she breathed her last and he reportedly refused help offset debt incurred by her prolong illness.
The problem afflicting the family had roots in Fayose’s first term as Governor of Ekiti state.
It revolves around two major episodes.
The first has hidden details in a development
with Emanuel, his wife and the then Governor as major acts.
The guarded occurrence saw the family, including the parents side with Emanuel. Celebrity journals hit town with different versions of the family feud.
The other was the collapsed marriage of late Bimpe Shorinolu.
Mr Fayose as governor was accused of having a hand in the development.
He allegedly empowered the husband to the detriment his sister’s marriage.
Dapo the hubby, reportedly become ‘his excellency’s willing tool’ and abandoned his family.
Bimpe fought her husband in the media laying numerous allegations against him.
She fought him till he scrambled out of office on the heels of impeachment threats for abuse of office and related allegations.
Isaac tried to serve as a bridge of sort in the face of the multiple family crisis, but it wasn’t long before he sided with the others. He however tried not to show open hostility in the face of family fracas.
The degeneration of the family quarrel came to fore in the snatching of their late father’s body and burial of an empty casket as a pre-emptive ploy of sort.
The drama came to be with the late Bimpe serving as the arrow head of other siblings with and some family laying claims to the decease’s last wishes of burial in Ibadan, Oyo state where he lived his life. And Fayose’s stance of burial at home town in Ekiti according to tradition.
While Bimpe fought her elder brother till she breathed her last, it appeared the survivors Emmanuel and Isaac and another sister, Abefe appeared willing to forgive and forget with Fayose’s return to power.
The duo offered the olive branch by staging a ‘victory party’ – in concert -for their brother separately in Lagos and London.
But he shunned the two events, even after he confirmed attendance at the london soiree.
Privy sources claimed he did it to avoid public showing of reconciliation with his siblings.
He is said to believe to much has happened to just be swept under the carpet with ‘spurious’ show of togetherness at ‘a victory party’ for a fight he won on his own.
Further digs however revealed that, outside of his family- quarrel with political supporter Kashamu Buruj is far from over.
The quarrel that sparked off over repayment of a N1b campaign fund before election is said to have become more intense.

Sources confirm the fight has now added another two other explosive elements, fight for supremacy and control of southwest politics.
With the success of his election as Governor Elect, Mr Fayose has virtual taken on the tittle and influence credited to Buruj.
A move the latter is not taking lightly taking into consideration the effort it took dim former president Obasanjo’s clout to create a niche.
But given that their loyalty lies to the same base, President Jonathan Goodluck- and will do all possible to cage common enemy, Chief Obasanjo- they are said to be prosecuting their ‘quarrel’ in a way and manner that will not jeopardise common goal.
