Details As Casa 45 Lights Up Lagos, This Weekend
Both men bring a pedigree shaped by years of influence
Casa 45 is setting the tone for a refined nightlife experience in Lagos with the unveiling of a curated weekend lineup scheduled from March 19 to March 21, blending live music, sport, and high-end social gatherings in the heart of Victoria Island.
The schedule opens on Thursday, March 19, with “Thursday Night Live,” headlined by renowned performer Dede Mabiaku at 9pm, offering guests a rich fusion of live instrumentation and soulful rhythms in an intimate setting.
The experience transitions into a vibrant late-night atmosphere on Friday, March 20, with activities kicking off at 11pm for those seeking premium nightlife into the early hours.
Saturday, March 21, delivers a two-part experience, beginning with “Soccer Saturday” at 3pm, designed as a relaxed, social viewing environment for football enthusiasts. By 11pm, the tone shifts to “High Society Saturday,” an upscale gathering curated for Lagos’ elite, combining music, ambience, and exclusivity in a signature nightlife experience.
Behind the concept is Folorunsho “Folly” Coker, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s tourism and cultural landscape, in partnership with Ahmed Uhwubetine, founder of the iconic Club 1145.

Both men bring a pedigree shaped by years of influence in hospitality, entertainment, and cultural promotion.
Coker, a former Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture under Akinwunmi Ambode, is widely credited with pioneering the One Lagos Fiesta, a citywide initiative that helped redefine the festive calendar and contributed to the global rise of the “Detty December” culture. His later role as Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority further reinforced his reputation for shaping narratives around Nigeria’s cultural and lifestyle economy.
With Casa 45, that pedigree appears to be finding new expression — not just as a venue, but as a destination built around curated experiences and premium hospitality.
Located at 35 Adeola Odeku, the establishment’s structured weekend programming reflects a deliberate attempt to cater to a wide spectrum of Lagos’ social class — from music lovers and sports fans to high-net-worth individuals seeking exclusivity.
