Custom Area Comptroller, Michael Adewole Accused Of ‘Hijacking’ Agents Businesses

The Customs Area Comptroller, MMIA Command, Mr Michael Adewole is currently engulfed in a thick wave of allegations.

Custom agents operating within his Lagos state zonal command accuse him of ‘hijacking’ their businesses.

The accusers alleged he usually perfects this act by getting in touch with clients based on information produced in documents to be processed.

He is said to corner the ‘jobs’ by offering lesser charges.

He has underlinings that secure initial statics for him.

Informants further alleged that the area comptroller perfects the handling of the businesses- after take over- with his company and those of his cronies such as Zatem & Brazo among others.

The cronies are custom agents favoured by the custom boss.

A consignment belonging to a notable retired judge is listed among the jobs he recently cornered.

But the news about the custom man is not all about allegations.

Insiders claimed he has increased the numbers of his possessions.

He finished the construction of a three wing shopping plaza earlier in the year.

The commercial centre located around Cement area, along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway is tagged a ‘multi millionaire investment of note’ by sources.

It dubbed a choice spot for the business oriented- and fully occupied.

It is noted as the place for the purchase of quality Tiles.

Mr Adewole did not respond to enquiry on the accusation and property ownership.
