Boroffice To Lose Senatorial Seat For Plotting With Remi Tinubu!

There are strong indications Robert Ajayi Boroffice may no longer occupy the Ondo North Senatorial seat he took over in 2011 in the next political dispensation.

Governor of Ondo state and leader of the state chapter of his party – All Progressives Congress – Rotimi Akeredolu is said to be working against Boroffice’s re-election bid.

“Akeredolu doesn’t want Boroffice in the Senate again, he wants another person in place” a source stated.

But what did Boroffice do to incur the wrath of the Governor?

Checks by societynow.ng revealed the Senator worked against the emergence of Akeredolu as Governor of Ondo state.

The Senator was said to have eyed the position for self and secured the understanding of Senator Remi Tinubu, the wife of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to actualize the agenda.

But the plot by the two senators failed to materialize.

They couldn’t secure the endorsement of Asiwaju Tinubu who had a candidate of his own.

Akeredolu who eventually emerged party Gubernatorial candidate and Governor beat the political forces of Boroffice and Remi and Asiwaju Tinubu to claim his prize.

On the strength of the opposition mounted against him, the governor is said to have initiated moves to enthrone a Senator more loyal to him and aligns with his political thinking in Boroffice’s stead.

And the plot to achieve this is said to be intensely underway.
