Akwa Ibom Holds December Sanitation Exercise Without Movement Restriction
between 7:00am and 10:00am
The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced that the December 2025 statewide monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, December 27, between 7:00am and 10:00am.
In a public notice issued on Thursday, the government said there will be no restriction of movement during the exercise.
Residents, community leaders and other stakeholders were urged to actively participate to sustain the state’s reputation as Nigeria’s cleanest.
The notice was signed by Aniekan Umanah, commissioner for information, and dated December 26, 2025.
