The Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Niger State, Bologi Ibrahim, expressed concern over the misinterpretation given to a recent statement of his boss, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, about selling the state.

Bologi Ibrahim, in a statement, explained that the governor’s statement was interpreted out of context, especially by mischief makers.

The Chief Press Secretary observed that the misinterpretation has unfortunately reinforced unnecessary discussions across some social and conventional media platforms.

He said most people interpreted the statement literally and failed to grasp the intended meaning.

The Governor’s Spokesman stated that his boss was only expressing his passion and unwavering commitment to do everything possible within his power to tackle the defining challenges facing the state.

He queried the negative imagination of those who interpreted the farmer governor’s statement literally, adding that his boss is most committed to serving humanity.

He said all well-meaning residents of the state are proud of the governor’s pragmatic approach to the growth and development of the state and assured that the state government would not be distracted by those who, consciously or unconsciously, interpret his statement out of context.

The Chief Press Secretary maintained that farmer Governor Umaru Bago remains unwavering in the actualisation of the New Niger agenda desired by all.
