“You Are Doggd Fighter” – Osinbajo’s Chief Strategist, Aregbesola Congratulates Tinubu

Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister for interior and one of the major backers of the presidential aspiration of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has penned a hearty congratulatory message to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu secured 1,271 votes at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election to emerge the flag bearer of the party for the 2023 election.

Aregbesola’s choice -Osinbajo – scored 235 – to come third.

Aregbesola joined forces with Osinbajo against Tinubu after he infamously spoke against the political leader in a failed attempt to eradicate his influence in the APC gubernatorial primary in Osun state that gave Governor Gboyega Oyetoa re-election ticket.

It appears with Asiwaju’s latest victory, Aregbesola has put aside the aside “political grudge” to identify with his leader.

The minister wrote his a congratulatory message titled “Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Congratulations On Your Victory” which reads…

I write to felicitate with you on your hard fought victory at the just concluded Presidential Primary election of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

2. You have demonstrated once again that you are a dogged fighter and in your quest for the establishment of a democratic society, you are willing to go the whole hog.
3. It is my prayer that you will ride on the crest of the momentum of this triumph to lead our party to victory in next year’s General Elections.
4. On behalf of my family and our associates, I heartily congratulate you on this well deserved victory.
