The profile of Aremo Olusegun Osoba is on the rise in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

And this is as a result of the good work of one of his mentees.

Against all odds, the former Governor of Ogun State insisted that 29yr old Temitope Yusuff Adejojo should be the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Abeokuta South 1 state legislative contest in 2019.

Societynow.ng gathered that Osoba stoutly stood by this decision against ferocious opposition from even those very close to him.

“At a point, they successfully switched Adejojo’s name as party’s candidate but Osoba stood his ground and Adejojo eventually emerged candidate and won the election” societynow.ng learned.

Multiple sources disclosed within the short spell spent as state lawmaker Adejojo has emerged a shining light.

Insiders disclosed he has touched lives in his constituency with impactful gestures.

“Within a year he has done multiple empowerment programs such as donating tools of trades for artisans and training of different forms of handcrafts for his constituents” a source disclosed.

Societynow.ng gathered that the youngest member of the Ogun State house of Assembly has also donated buses to take school children on different routes within his constituency to and from schools.

“He pays radio programs to announce the time of arrival and departure from every point so parents and students will know how to fit in” societynow.ng learned.

Those who should also disclosed that Adeojo takes out time to appear on call-in radio programs to interact with his constituents.

“And most times those who call in commend him, which is rare for a politician to get. It is very obvious that the people have fallen in love with him” a source stated.

Insiders disclosed that many people are now commending Osoba for the foresight of insisting on Adejojo as the state lawmaker for Abeokuta South 1.
