There is a wave of growing anger against Actress Georgina Onuoha in the movie industry.

And this development has to do with the role she played in the display of public anger against Desmond Elliot, the role interpreter turned state lawmaker.

Elliot, a second-term lawmaker in the Lagos State House of Assembly had experienced massive public angst for openly siding with attempts to gag free speech by advocating for control of social media during plenary.

Elliot multiplied his offense in the eyes of the public by labeling youths “children”.

The development resulted in such a huge expression of anger against the state lawmaker from Surulere that he hurriedly tendered an open apology and granted a near to tear interview with Arise Television attributing his utterances to emotions over “seeing people, killing people” at Lekki Toll-Gate.

44year old Elliot is seen as a youth who rode to office – twice – on the strength of the use of social media.

Actress Onuoha in expressing her displeasure over Elliot’s backing of control of free speech went very personal.

Societynow.com learned colleagues in the movie industry are taking great exception to the portion of Onuoha’s comments which reads “You are not making a damn sense Shola??? Are you mad?? …. “Fuck you Desmond. Not too long ago at Lagos State University, people like me were giving you transport money to catch a ride back home. Insiders disclosed that in closed groups where movie people interact many express strong opinions against Onuoha’s comment.

Societynow.ng gathered there is a fit of general anger over her lack of self – control while some attribute it to bile as a result of a yet to be established reason.

“The general feeling is that she went overboard and extremely personal in delivering what should have been a good message in a very bad manner” societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed Onuoha’s past life was x-rayed and many wondered how she would feel if those that helped her grow, those she squatted with, and those that gave her handouts after the stunted journey to be a reverend sister forced her into acting reference those periods in calling her to order.
