Multiple sources confirm Kashamu Buruji remains the face of People’s Democratic Party in Ogun state.

This development is the face of the expulsion of the Ogun East Senator from the party by the PDP’s National Executive Council.

Kashamu Buruji Finally Kicked Out Of PDP

“I can tell you that he still enjoys recognition as a leader of the PDP in Ogun state from party members” a source stated emphatically.

Buruji retains control of the faction of the PDP recognized by the Independent Electoral Commission in Ogun state via court order.

The Ogun East Senator is also widely recognized as the political power in his turf through ferocious grass root support by the locals.

Different sources revealed to societynow.ng that, Buruji still attends and organises party activities in the state, especially in his stronghold.

The Senator has mastered loyalty of the people of his political turf, and in other areas of Ogun state with “immense patronage”.

“And he has not relent but increased political patronage since his alleged expulsion” societynow.ng learned.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed that Kashamu’s continuing posture as a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party may not be unconnected with underground efforts to rescind his expulsion.

Societynow.ng learned that there are silent moves to get Kashamu’s expulsion set aside by the National Executive Council of the PDP as part of efforts to harmonize political might – in the bid to perform well in the coming general election, especially the gubernatorial contest.
