In a significant move towards inclusivity, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun the training of Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers (POs/APOs) for the #KogiDecides2023 Election.

What makes this training unique is INEC’s commitment to inclusivity.

The Commission has actively engaged the services of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to ensure that no one is left behind.

Mr. Olumide Albert, Mr. Yahaya Solomon, and Mr. Usman Isiaku, all PWDs, have joined the training team.

This approach highlights INEC’s dedication to promoting inclusivity in electoral processes, fostering equal participation, and providing opportunities for all members of the community to contribute to the electoral system. As INEC equips its officials for the election, it is also paving the way for a more inclusive and participatory democratic process.
