The political influence and clout of Ganiyu Solomon in the politics of Lagos state is on the rise.

This is as those of fellow power broker Muiz Banire spiral the other side.

And the reason for this is simple.

The table is turned between the two political heavyweights from Lagos West.

Ganiyu Solomon is currently the apple of the eyes of the decision-makers in Lagos.

He is extremely close to the government in the person of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and enjoys an extraordinary relationship with power behind the throne as defined by the personality of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Banire on the other hand is “alienated” from the system.

And very much on the receiving end of “actions” that is rapidly reducing his “support base”.

Ironically Banire rose to political reckoning positioned to contain and take away the growing relevance of Solomon.

Solomon interestingly is regaining his “gait” with rapid empowerment to “obliterate” the influence of Banire.
