Former Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed is in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The former Governor who served as the commissioner for finance in the cabinet of his predecessor Bukola Saraki reportedly arrived at the head office of the anti-graft agency in Jabi, Abuja at about 10.0.0 a.m today – Monday, May 17, 2021.

Societynow.ng gathered in a report monitored on thenationonlineng.net that Abulfatah Ahmed is being questioned over alleged diversion of N9Billion.

He was said to be answering questions on the issue and writing statements from the time he arrived till 7.0.0P.m as at the time of the report.

The report on thenationonlineng.net hints that the investigation may cover issues relating to the former Governor’s two terms in office and time as Commissioner for Finance in the administration of Saraki.
