There are strong indications that Babatunde Fashola and Kemi Adeosun’s journey to confirmation as Ministers is just a routine walk in the park.

This is despite emerging heavy allegations by protester and civil right organisation Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL) led by Debo Adeniran.

Sources disclosed that the strength of their walk free from the emerging accusations of corruption lies in perception of who is after them – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

And along with their promoters and sponsors, they are said to have played up this perceived enmity to secure much needed support that would pave way for their emergence.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is up in arms with leadership of the Senate as defined by Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

‘And you have to understand that the more of those the powerful politician is against that Saraki can get to his corner the better is power base and chances of weathering onslaughts against him’ an insider disclosed.

Revelations available to societynowng.com have that well before the official unveiling of the list Fashola and governor Amosun, the sponsor of Kemi Adeosun have executed a series of underground pacts within and outside their political party, All Progressives Congress that would take care of last minute ambush.

Sources divulged that based on how clinical they have gone about the affair of securing support , the ongoing protest against their candidatures won’t go beyond what it is – protests.

Governor Amosun who is alleged to engulfed in shrouded battle of relevance with Asiwaju Tinubu took the enmity an extra yard by knocking off the powerful politician’s candidate, Wale Edun from the ministerial list with his preferred choice, Kemi Adeosun.

Babatunde Fashola on his part refused to stay down but rather rode on performance and contacts put together while in office as governor of Lagos state to attain better relevance despite the express wishes of his mentor and political godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
