Former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is angry.

But the political leader appears very helpless to do anything about the cause of his anger.

Governor of Lagos state Akinwnmi Ambode has turned deaf ears to all recent directives of the power broker.

‘’Especially, that he should not do any project commissioning’’ a source stated.

Ambode who was limited to a single term in office as a result of messy fallout with Tinubu – who helped him to the office of governor – is currently on projects commissioning spree, irrespective of the stage the initiatives are at.

Accused of abandoning most of the projects initiated by his predecessor, Ambode is obviously currently laying claim to his initiatives and preventing Governor-Elect Babajide Sanwo-Olu from taking that glory an insider claimed.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed that Tinubu is unhappy with Ambode over this move.

‘’The deal was to quietly ease the governor out of power after a truce of a sort was effected in the face of the famous impeachment threat by the Speaker Obasa (Mudashiru) led Lagos state House of Assembly’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng learned with a new found source of influence with President Muhammadu Buhari – facilitated by first lady Aisha Buhari – Ambode obviously is doing everything possible to be seen as ‘’working’’ these past four years, especially to his newly found support base.

‘’It is also to Ambode’s good fortune that he has made his peace with other political players against Tinubu in Lagos state with access to the President as well’’ societynow.ng learned.

Societynow.ng learned though Tinubu is angry that Ambode is going against his wishes, he cannot afford to move against the governor as a result of the influences the latter has now weaned around himself.
