Why Ambode ‘’Refused’’ To Personally Present 2019 Budget To Lagos Assembly

All certainly is not well between Governor Ambode and members of Lagos House of Assembly over the presentation of 2019 budget. While the members of the assembly were expecting the governor to formally write them when he is coming to the chamber to  present the 2019 budget, they got the shock of their life when what they got from the governor  instead,  was budget itself and a covering  letter to the effect that whatever is not clear to them they( members) should call him for clarification.

This according to a reliable source was sent on Friday, December 28, 2018 to the house.

When I called Hon (Mrs) Adefunmilayo Tejuoso, the Chairman House Committee on Information to get her reaction to this information, she did not take my call nor did she respond to my message to her phone.

Mr Habib Haruna, the governor’s spokesman, however , said,  there was no collision of any sort between the governor and the House of Assembly members.
