Glo Campus Storm, a music concert of total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, will on Friday hold at the Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka hosted the event last week. The Uturu edition will also feature dancing and singing competition, comedy and music from star artistes including Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya; music music star, Victoria Kimani, dancehall king,

Runtown, fresh hip hop act, Kach and several up and coming artistes who would be given the platform to showcase their talents.

One of the Nigeria’s strong comedians, Gordons will inject clean humour into the event while female disc jockey, DJ Lambo will dazzle all from the juke box.

Students of the institution are already expectant as the Campus Storm road show street activation bands have started pounding the nooks and crannies to rev up excitement in the town.

According to Globacom, one of the major highlights of the show is the Glo Data Dude and Glo Data Diva competitions. “Ten winners in each campus will receive up to N100,000 each in the competition. The 240 winners who emerge from 24 schools will have the chance of winning N1 million in scholarships in addition to being signed on as Globacom Brand Ambassadors. They will also get special invitations to all Globacom organized events and shows such as the Glo-CAF Awards, Glo Laffta Fest and Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce concerts.”

In the same vein, the company urged students who are desirous of attending the concert to recharge their Glo lines with at least N500 campus data plan to be eligible to watch the show.
