‘’The agenda is to give him the Atiku treatment’’ an insider explained the problem Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is battling in one line.

Former President – and Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the last general election – Atiku Abubakar is battling the perception of ‘’personification of corruption” without any conviction in a law court.

The Story.

Whatever narratives his handlers push out, insiders insist that that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is battling a conspiracy of a sort.

And it all has to do with his eligibility to contest the 2023 Presidential election.

Osinbajo – with his performance in the president administration – is viewed as one of the leading aspirants.

‘’He shares the same toga of pious honesty that has transformed President Muhammadu Buhari into a phenomenon with fanatical following’’ a source pointed.

‘’And that perception is what is being attacked by those not comfortable with the way he handles things’’ societynow.ng learned.

‘’The agenda is to create a buzz of corruption, that would transform into a stigma, around his person in the court of public opinion…the Atiku treatment’’ a source stated.

Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is ceaselessly decorated with talks of corruption, yet there is no conviction against his person.

Societynow.ng’s checks revealed that though the circumstances are different – Atiku and Osinbajo’s – the result would turn out the same if Vice President Osinbajo does not stem the situation before it spirals out of control.

‘’His unique selling point of pious honesty combined with admirable competence would be so buried that it will seem it never was if these emerging whispers of corruption are not shut down as soon as possible’’ a source pointed out.
