The definition of best business practices, Abdul Samad Rabiu – the Chairman and founder of BUA Group – has disclosed the things that are close to his heart, that he wants to continue doing – and devote his time to.

The kind heart who brought smiles to the faces of Nigerians with the reduction in the price of BUA Cement to N3500 amid the general price of N5500 to “spur development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors” made the disclosure on Saturday, October 12, 2023.

“Giving back to society, helping and supporting communities and people, intervening in areas that bring positive impact to communities and people and those that are in need are very very close to my heart. This is what I want to continue doing and devote My time to, in the coming years, Insha Allah”. one of the nation’s biggest employers of labor and a vital contributor to the economy stated on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The founder of ASR Africa, the foundation making high impacts across the continent made the disclosure at the official launch of the reconstruction fund of the Zaria Central Mosuqe where he donated N2Billion.

The over 150-year-old Central Mosque located in Zaria, a part of Zazzau Emirate Council, Kaduna State collapsed on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Abdul Salam Rabiu whose ASR Africa Initiative started the construction of a N2.5Bilion Oncology Centre in Ilorin Kwara State on Friday, October 6, 2023, made the N2Billion contribution to the rebuilding of the Zaria Central Mosque as part of the process of “building a foundation for a better and brighter future”.

“In supporting this effort we are not only preserving something of historical significance but also investing in education and empowerment of people within the Zazzau emirate and other parts of Nigeria” the giant of Africa whose ASR Africa Initiative interventions in security, health, education, and social development include 10 billion Naira in grants of 2.5 billion Naira each to 4 States and a $3million education infrastructure support grant to Ghana provided insight.

The BUA Chairman who made the N2Billion donation on behalf of himself, his family, and ASR Africa Initiative urged other stakeholders to be part of the rebuilding of the historic central mosque by coming together as a united front fostering unity and progress in the country.
