Uzodimma Names Owuamalam Special Adviser On Sustainable Development Goals

Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSGI, has approved the appointment of Barr. Chinenyenwa Owuamalam as Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Barr. Owuamalam brings fourteen years of post-call experience at the Nigerian Bar, combining a distinguished legal career with a strong commitment to sustainable development.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Oil and Gas Law with Distinction from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, and previously served as a corporate lawyer at the Central Bank of Nigeria Headquarters, Abuja.
In her new role, Barr. Owuamalam will be charged with developing and driving innovative, impact-focused policies tailored to Imo State’s unique needs — positioning the State as Nigeria’s leading model for sustainable development. Her appointment signals Governor Uzodimma’s continued commitment to embedding sustainable development at the heart of Imo State’s governance agenda.
