Untold Story As Kwam 1 Refuses To Let Go In Rift With Ambode

The untold story of the controversial video that portrayed king of Fuji music Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe bad mouthing Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has surfaced.

Insiders disclosed the development has roots in the build-up to the campaign that earned Ambode party ticket to secure power.

Before Ambode became the flag bearer for the 2015 general election, societynow.ng gathered Wasiu performed at an event where Obafemi Hamzat another contender of the governorship ticket was a special guest of honor.

Informants disclosed Kwam 1 as the king of Fuji music is better known praised Hamzat to high heavens amidst lavish prayers that the gubernatorial aspirant achieves all his heart desire.

Societynow.ng learned such an endorsement of his opponent coming from the ‘’official ‘’ entertainer of his party irked Ambode.

‘’But this was before Asiwaju Tinubu directed that all his supporters give their all to make Ambode the governorship candidate ‘’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed that immediately the political leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave the signal that Ambode is the anointed candidate Kwam 1 put all his might in working for Ambode’s success.

‘’Kwam 1 even bought six coaster buses, branded them and donated them to the Ambode for governor campaign” societynow.ng learned.

Insiders, however, revealed after Ambode emerged Governor of Lagos state in the 2015 election Kwam 1 became sidelined in all activities of Lagos state government.

‘’It was like he was blacklisted. He was not engaged by the government and was also denied involvement in activities that the Lagos state government has anything to do with” societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed that the situation became so bad for Kwam 1 that he was forced to lobby the Lagos state House Assembly to do ‘’something” for the public to see him as a part of the famous Lagos at 50 celebrations.

‘’He was denied patronage and humiliated as the state government patronizes younger and lesser recognized artistes” an insider insists.

Societynow.ng gathered that the bottled up frustration resulted in the controversial video.

And the Fuji king has refused to make peace with the outgoing governor of Lagos state.

The star fuji musician is said to now shun the governor at events in a case of reversal of roles.

The Governor has lost the chance to secure his re-election by losing party ticket to lesser-known Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
