A while back, when he was still in office and was in the gathering of friends, former Lagos Commissioner – Aremo Segun Oniru made a declaration.

”Once I leave office after this term, am gone for good’

The Lagos prince and heir apparent who was a part of the administration of wave maker Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his successor Babatunde Fashola as ”governors” made the disclosure in his last term in office.

And since he left public office on the expiration of Ex Governor Fashola’s last term – Aremo has remained true to his word.

”He has stayed gone for good”.

Details available have it that the multiple term former Lagos Commissioner now make it his business to avoid the glare.

Except to honour events by friends that force him into the open, he has particularly stayed off the radar.

”But that is not to say he has become a recluse..far from it” a source stated.

The ”silent power” is said to luxuriate in simple pleasures – enjoying self at this and that fun place while he quietly position for fate and men to conspire in landing at his highly guarded but ”thirstily” sought achievement.
The Aremo is said to quietly hunger for a dream crown.

”The crown separates king from kings” a source disclosed.

Sources claim this is one of the main reason that helps keep his word of ”gone for good”, his interest is purely out of ”politics” and ” increased social acceptance” but entirely focused on ”traditional elevation”- the kind that provides all manners of ”recognition”.
