Tinubu, Buhari In Closed Door Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari and his elected successor, Bola Tinubu met today in Abuja and held a “closed-door” meeting.
They “privately discussed a host of issues of common concern to them” a statement by the special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu revealed.
The President and President-Elect later observed the Jumaat (Friday Prayer) together at the State House Mosque, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
The statement by the presidential aide further revealed that “the President-elect was accompanied to the State House by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and two Governors, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State as well as Alhassan Ado Doguwa the Majority Leader of House of Representatives.”
