The True Story About Aregbesola’s ‘’I Don’t Know Much About Interior Ministry’’ Narratives

Rauf Aregbesola, the new Minister for Interior has his work cut out for him – perception problem.

He faces a big challenge handling problem of perception.

And his first day in office as a minister reared up the problem that has dogged him since his days as the Governor of Osun state.

‘’I don’t know much about interior ministry.. and I will require all your support(to succeed)’’ was what Aregbesola said when he visited his duty post yesterday societynow.ng confirmed.

‘’Aregbesola was actually inferring he was not familiar with the interior ministry as a space, place. He never worked there and he is not familiar with the people and their approach to things, he was trying to be modest while trying to bond with the workers by making them stakeholders in whatever plan he comes up with’’ a source put things in proper context.

Ironically, the bad press that has haunted Aregbesola as a two-tern governor of Osun state turned the comment on its head and ran to town with the impression that Aregbesola is thick in the head about what the ministry of interior entails.
