The Hammer Drops As UK Court Convicts Oil Baron Wagbatsoma For Money Laundering!

The hammer has dropped on oil baron, Walter Wagbatsoma.

Emerging details have it that a United Kingdom court has found him guilty of money laundering.

A Lincoln Magistrates’ Court has convicted the Managing Director of Ontario Oil and Gas, Wagbatsoma a report on theelites states.

The big spender who was at a time detained in Germany after Lincolnshire police issued a European Arrest Warrant on for alleged involvement in a multimillion-pound fraud was convicted last week according to the report.

He is however yet to be sentenced as he cools his heels in a UK prison according to information available.

15 other suspects charged with the money bag on same offences – conspiracy to defraud, money laundering and conspiracy to launder money – were to have been tried and convicted before now.

The latest twist further compounds Wagbatsoma’s situation back in Nigeria.

A Lagos court had jailed him – in absentia – for a N1.9billion subsidy fraud charge after he jumped bail and scampered out of the country.

His associates in that particular case are currently serving jail terms in Nigeria.
