Tension In NFF, Football Circle As Stephen Keshi & Shuaibu Amodu’s Back To Back Death Resurrects Talks Of Runaway Coach Sunday Oliseh’s Witches And Wizards Allegations

The back to back death of former national team coaches, Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu has resurrected suppressed allegations in the Nigeria Football Federation and nation’s football circle in general – talks of spiritual war at play.

Ex international turned national team coach, Sunday Oliseh had abandoned his duty post amongst others things amidst allegations of cultic warfare on his life.

The allegations came after he fell in and battled hard to stay alive.

The then Super Eagles Coach had later opted to manage the team from his base in Belgium.

Before this episode he was said to have confronted back room staff that there were witches and wizards involved in the affairs of the team.

A report had quoted a source ‘’He was always scared in Camp and suspicious of even members of his back room staff’’

Oliseh eventually walked out of his contract citing non fulfilment of contractual agreements by the NFF.

Emerging details have it that both Keshi and Amodu were lobbying for return as Super Eagles death before their death.

Their died barely three days apart while on visit to their state of origin came as a big shock to the nation.

Though medical reasons have since been advanced for the occurrences, emerging talks in football circle are linking it to Oliseh’s famous witches and Wizards allegations.

With claims the late coaches top indigenous contenders for the vacant Super Eagles coach job with their stature and clout.

Sources claim the emerging talks is ruffling feathers within and outside the NFF and the administrators are working to shut it down.

”It doesn’t brood well…it will make the job unattractive and provide ready excuse for failure of any appointees..and what does that do for the development of football in the country?” A source pointed out.

Details have it that the administrators of the game are battling the emerging speculation with demand for scientific evidence of witches and wizards involvement in affairs of the national team, as well as it’s correlation with the back to back death of the two popular for Super Eagles Coaches as part of efforts to douse tension and blanket the damaging talks.
