Talks Folake Osinowo Is Gov Fayose’s Mole In APC Create Problems For Teddy Shine’s Wife

Folake Oshinowo, the wife of socialite Teddy Shine has found herself in a bit of political mess.

The former House of Representative Member has defected to the All Progressives Congress from the People’s Democratic Party.

The move which comes after the APC won the Presidential election and retained control of Oyo state appears to be fast turning into a nightmare for the lawmaker who lost her seat to her former personal assistant and now a strong voice in the Oyo APC, Saheed Fijabi.

Informants claimed she is being labelled a mole of the Ekiti state governor very much up in arms against the leadership of the APC.

According to talks from the grapevine in Oyo state ‘there is a belief that Folake defected to the APC because Fayose needed someone he can trust within their rank..someone with potential to play politics at the national level and provide inside information for him to manoeuvre in his engagements with the APC leaders in and outside his state… and Folake fits the bill. Folake, her husband, Teddy Shine and Fayose go way back…they were together during his ill fated first term and remain one of the select people he retain close rapport with in his current regime’.

The level of closeness between the Oshinowo’s and the Ekiti state governor is said to be such that, Mr Fayose attempted to influence Folake becoming the running mate of People’s Democratic Party Candidate in the Oyo state gubernatorial election, Teslim Folarin.

But the move didn’t pan out.

Insiders revealed rather than be given special consideration based on her social and political ratings, she has been directed to succumb to the authority of her former personal assistant, Saheed Fijabi.

Fijabi was Folake’s aide during her days as a Federal lawmaker on the platform of the PDP.

Unbecoming treatment meted out to the P.A forced him to the arms of the opposition party and based on inside information of the working of his former boss, defeated her to take her position.

The development had transformed them enemies as Oshinowo refused to recognise the new status of her former personal assistant.

And now based on directive by the leadership of her new party, she has been ordered to succumb to the authority of her former aide and work with him to show sincere commitment to the ‘progress’ of the party she claimed to love its ideals.

According to a keen observer ‘it is a big status downing for not only Folake, but her husband Teddy Shine as well…for his wife to go and be waiting upon Fijabi.

Sources however claimed based on the fact that defection back to the PDP looks out of it- and need to stick to alleged plan, Oshinowo is currently exploring means to make something out of the seemingly disgraceful affair.
