Survivors Risk Lives To Take Valuables Out Of Collapsed Lagos Island 3Storey Building

Insiders disclosed that some of the survivors of the collapsed three storey building in Lagos Island this morning put their lives at risk again this morning.

‘’They went back in search of valuables they could salvage from the rubbles’’ societynow.ng learned.

The collapsed building located on Massey street Ita Faaji, Lagos state housed a school and residential apartments.

Some of the residents of the apartments attempted to take whatever they could salvage from their trapped belonging earlier this morning.

Societynow.ng gathered that rescue workers put a stop to the attempt out of fear the scramble may bring down the rest of the building on the individuals concerned.

The about 12 persons – including school children – have been confirmed dead and fifty-something victims rescued from the rubble.
